Water: Using resources, overcoming risks
The third joint Civil Protection Day of the federal and state authorities will be held on the Haedge peninsula in Rostock on 12 July 2025 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On the southern banks of the Warnow Estuary, visitors can look forward to a wide variety of informative demonstrations and hands-on activities.
The Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK), the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW), fire services and relief organisations will be represented, along with many other organisations and institutions as well as federal and state ministries – all of them important players in the area of civil protection.
What to expect:
After the civil protection days in Potsdam in 2023 and Wiesbaden in 2024, this year’s Civil Protection Day on the Haedge peninsula near the Rostock city centre will feature emergency workers and many other partners responsible for protecting us all against fires, floods, extreme weather and other disasters.
Rostock’s location on the Warnow Estuary makes the motto for this year’s Civil Protection Day especially appropriate: “Water: Using resources, overcoming risks”. Visitors can look forward to an exciting programme for children and adults, with a wide range of demonstrations, hands-on activities and more.
Entry to the event is free of charge.
